Why I Think About Death
I've been thinking about mortality lately. When you strip away the daily visual noise of modern software, you are left with just ideas, typography, and focus.
The core realization is simple: restraint creates clarity.
The strange thing about focus
One of the most powerful uses of a personal digital notebook is having a dedicated space to reflect.
Here is what I'm keeping in mind as I build:
- Eliminate UI chrome: Remove heavy outer borders, glossy backgrounds, and floating widgets.
- Control reading width: Keep text columns tight (around 700px) so line lengths feel natural.
- Prioritize content: Let the essays and technical projects drive the design.
